Embedding Equity in Everyday Operations

Real Action, Lasting Impact, and Measurable Progress

Let’s Meet

Who We Are

Connect2Knowledge (C2K) was founded in 2017 out of deep respect for the role not-for-profits play in shaping a more equitable world and a clear understanding of the challenges they face in getting there.

We saw a gap: mission-driven teams committed to equity and justice, but often under-resourced, overwhelmed, or unsure how to turn values into action. Our work is about closing that gap, helping not-for-profits move equity from theory into everyday practice.

Since then, we’ve partnered with over 100 leaders across 30+ not-for-profit organizations, strengthening governance, leadership, and day-to-day operations. With practical, hands-on support, we help build confidence, clarity, and capacity for lasting change.

Our Vision

A world where every organization fighting for justice is equipped to deliver it. Where community wisdom drives solutions, systemic barriers fall, and equity is no longer a hope but a practised, measurable reality.

Our Mission

We build the clarity, confidence, and capacity not-for-profit teams need to embed equity into every decision, relationship, and outcome. We help create organizations trusted by those within and beyond their walls.

What Guides Us

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Our approach is:

Practical

We ground equity in your day-to-day operations, not in lofty ideals.

Human-centred

We meet people where they are, never with judgement, always with care.

Outcome oriented

We measure what matters—because intention without impact isn't enough.

Built for real life

We know your work is complex. We make EDI work doable, sustainable, and lasting.

Our core principles

Collective responsibility starts with us

True equity starts with each individual. We hold ourselves accountable through open communication and honest reflection on our work. When outcomes don’t align with intentions, we address it constructively. This sense of collective ownership extends to our clients, ensuring every team member plays an active role in achieving goals.

Connection fuels stronger communities

Equity thrives in spaces where authentic connections are made. We create opportunities for open conversations, build mutual understanding, and embrace diverse viewpoints to strengthen relationships with our clients and within our teams.

Embrace growth through trial and learning

Equity work is an evolving journey, not a destination. At C2K, we encourage a cycle of experimentation, taking risks, and learning from failure. By building trust, we transform mistakes into valuable lessons, fostering an environment where growth happens continuously for both our team and our clients.

Meet Our Team

We’re a small team of facilitators, strategists, and collaborators who believe that real change starts with people. Our work is rooted in a deep commitment to justice, inclusion, and creating systems that work better for everyone.

We partner with not-for-profits because we understand their challenges and we’re passionate about helping teams build the clarity, confidence, and alignment needed to create lasting impact.
